The Phoenix Prestige was a rock band from Ireland based in Hangzhou, China (2007 - 2011). They performed two national tours of China together under the strength of 3 Eps inspired by the visceral energy of punk with the ethereal minimalism of contemporary composers Philip Glass, Bernard Herman, Tod Browning, and Werner Herzog.
